SPORT SCOUTS
The first two pictures are of a very nicely done bobber. I almost hate to use the word "bobber" as it has been so over used in the last ten years, but this is in fact a real bobber. Bobbers came from the term "bob job", you stripped off all the extra parts and "bobbed" or cut down the fenders to shed unwanted pounds so the machine would go faster. Remember, these Sport Scouts were only 45 inches but would really get with it if you ran them as light as possible.
The bikes in the third picture are original as raced Scouts that have been together since they were originally raced in the fourties. The buyer found them all in one shed and purchased all four. It just about makes you crazy even thinking about it !
