Billy Lane On Work Release In Florida

Billy Lane being eligible for work release, is now allowed to work at paid employment in the community during the last months of his 6-year confinement.

So, since a couple of days, Billy is back at working on motorcycles at a newly opened shop in Orlando called Global Motor Werks. Billy Lane must return to the Department’s custody at the end of each workday.

The program is conceived to help inmates for a gradual reintegration back into the community, gain full employment, accumulate savings, preserve family and community ties.

Billy Lane is still serving a 6 years sentence for his involvement in an accident where a man lost his life.  He also will do 3 years of probation. He is benefiting of 2 days of credit per month of  good behavior while doing time. Whatever Billy decides to do after confinement and wherever he wants to work, he will be obliged to keep a presence in Florida during the time of his probation.  He has stated that although he has ties in Florida, that he would like to move to California.  We'll see.

Billy was most noted for building custom motorcycles, but evidently he has a love for old bikes as evidenced by his selling a bunch of them as he fought massive legal battles.
