This is one of the bikes that have inspired me since I was about 18 years old, it was and still is owned by Micah McCloskey in SOCAL. It was featured in Easy Rider magazine years ago as I was just getting out on my own.
I have started to build a bobbed Chief several times and never quite got it finished, one of these days I will get the job done. John Donavon used to ride around Vallejo on a bobbed 48 that was just about perfect.
