I ordered a bunch of parts for the Sportster including clutch and kicker parts. A lot of parts were just missing including the clutch cover that keeps the clutch dry, not sure why it was thought that the primary oil wouldn't affect the operation of the clutch. Who knows ?
I also sent the magneto to Joe Hunt for a total overhaul and to have new keys made for the ignition. A hot magneto makes a lot of differance when getting these old bikes on the road again.
The headlight looked goofy mounted up high on the triple trees so i relocated it where it belongs. I also dropped the fork tubes so they are flush with the top tree which helped in the looks department, don't know how it will handle. We will see ??
